According to the monthly survey on the foreign trade of goods issued by the Finnish National Board of Customs, Finland’s trade deficit reached an exceptionally high level in March, namely EUR 614 million.

The EUR 614 million trade deficit is the largest monthly shortfall experienced for many decades.

In March 2010, the balance of trade showed a deficit of EUR 393 million.
